Fotospeed 'Day of Prints'
A successful mix of talks, expert advice, and all things print
Fotospeed and Frome Wessex Photographic held a delightful day-long workshop dedicated to the captivating, uniquely rewarding world of photo printing on super sunny Saturday 11th May.
Fifty participants soaked in the six-hour programme designed to be enjoyed by photographers of every ability, featuring inspiring talks from renowned Fotospeed Ambassadors, support from Technical Manager Tim Jones (who was on-hand to expertly answer the many, many printing-related queries that came his way), and the chance to discover Fotospeed's significant range of papers in the only way that matters – in person. Attendees walked away with a complimentary A3 print of one of their images and the day proved hugely successful.
Our thanks to Fotospeed and all FWP members who made this possible, with particular mention to Bill Aven for organising the event.

Competitions & Workshops |
Guest Speakers |
Photoshoots & Outings |
Through competitions and workshops we all learn new skills. All our competitions are assessed by independent, experienced judges. Additionally, we enter a selection of regional and inter-club battles. |
A core component of our weekly meetings are talks by a variety of experienced speakers. Sessions cover a range of topics – see our Programme 2023/24 for details. |
A photography group should be a social group, and FWP normally organises an annual photo holiday, as well as summer outings and photoshoots throughout the year, details of which can be found in the members' newsletter (and News page). |
