Having taken an interest in Astronomy led me into photography around three years ago as I wanted to photograph the night sky and not knowing anything about a camera has been a steep learning curve – some courses, lots of YouTube videos.

I have been a member of FWCC for the last two years and I have really enjoyed the social and expert knowledge from all the Club members which has helped me understand and challenge what I have been trying to achieve.

I have a particular interest in capturing the Milky Way, but also enjoy the Great Outdoors, scenic landscapes and more recently wildlife photography – bit a mixture but I find I can fit it all in at different times of the year during the different seasons and makes my photography an all year round interest.
