Set Subjects & Definitions
Curves – Hand in date 19th November 2021 for competition on 3rd December
An image showcasing one or more curves as the central element of the composition.
Abstract – Hand in date 31st December for competition on 14th January 2022
A photograph deliberately created without displaying an immediate or direct association with 'reality', or the 'real world'.
Mono* – Hand in date 18th March for competition on 1st April
Any photograph executed in black and white, or in varying tones of a single colour.
Pairs* – Hand in date 15th April for competition on 29th April
An image depicting a (or multiple) couple of subjects which can be identical, similar, or corresponding in their nature.
* Will be Print if normal meetings are taking place at the time – latest information will be in your weekly newsletters. All other competitions are Digital.

The Kingswood Salver is for a set of five images selected by the club from five different photographers. The theme for 2021 was 'Water In All Its Moods'.
NEW SIZING REQUIREMENTS: For Battle selection, please send three to five images labelled in the usual competition naming format and with images saved at a minimum of 4000 pixels (long edge) to [email protected]. (Sizing for internal competitions remains unaffected – see guidance below.)
