Policy on New Members (as of September 2020)


New members will be divided into two categories; 'remote members' and 'non-remote members'.

Definition of a Remote Member
A Remote Member shall be defined as a new (from June 1st 2020) member who normally resides in a
place where that member cannot normally be expected to attend normal club meetings on a regular basis
at our usual meeting place in Beckington Memorial Hall.  

Definition of a Non-remote Member
A member who is not a 'Remote Member'.

Remote Membership Activities
Remote Members will be welcome to partake in the following activities;
1. Attend and participate in, via zoom, the normal Friday club evenings.
2. Participate in the closed club Facebook group.
Remote Members will not be eligible to participate in the following activities.
1. All club internal and external competitions.
2. All club votes.
3. Any discussions relating to future conduct of the club.
4. Free entry into the Frome Salon.

Non-remote Member Activities.
Non-remote members may partake in all club activities, all club votes, all club discussions and enoy free entry into the Frome Salon.
