Our 8th National Salon of Photography, is now CLOSED for entries.
The Salon Entry window opened on 11th September and closed on the 1st November 2020.
The Selection took place successfully between the 13th and 15th November; because of Covid we used a 'remote selection' process.
Entrant scorecard emails were issued by email on 17th November.
The FSoP Catalogue and Awards were posted prior to the 18th December and should now have been received.
The Frome Wessex Camera Club would like to thank all those who entered this Salon.
We were pleased to have had our largest entry again this year with 5,916 images submitted from 488 Entrants.
We congratulate all those who gained Acceptances and Awards, and comisserate with those if they did not achieve what they had hoped for.
We hope to see more of your impressive work at our 2021 Salon.

BACKGROUND
The Frome Salon of Photography was first launched in 2012. It has become increasingly popular, attracting 488 entrants and over 5,900 digital image entries this year (2020).
We are a member of the British Photographic Exhibition circuit and conduct our Salon based upon their rules.
We award Medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze), Individual Selectors' ribbons (generally 1st and 2nd), and Certificates (Highly Commended and Commended) in each class.
For FWCC members, we additionally award certificates in each class for Club images that did not achieve a 'Salon Award' as follows: FWCC Best in Class, FWCC Highly Commended and FWCC Commended.
We are a UK National Salon, and are only open to photographers with addresses in United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and BFPO addresses.
