FROME WESSEX CC V WARMINSTER CC BATTLE GUIDELINES 2019

Outline:
30 x Images per club (15 x DPI and 15 x Prints)
No more than 1 x image per author in each category, i.e. the same author can submit 1 x DPI and 1 x Print
No more than 5 x wildlife images in each category per club.
An image will be disqualified if it has previously entered into this battle in a previous year or is so similar in composition and presentation that it is deemed to be the same image, even if produced from a separate original image file.
Deadline:
Images to be delivered to FWCC by 13th March 2019.

Prints:
All Prints must be presented suitably mounted on card with a maximum mounted size of 400mm x 500mm.
On the rear of the mount the order number and the title should be clearly displayed. It should only have the club, the order to be displayed and the title of the image on the reverse (e.g. 01 Blue Tit, 14 Great Tit etc). There should be nothing written or printed on the front of the mount, nor should the print itself contain the Name of the Photographer. If there is any confusion as to which way the image orientation should be, then the top of the image should also be indicated.
Images should be named with the display order.

Frome Wessex will be odd numbers 01 - 29 plus title and Warminster will be even numbers 02-30 plus title in order to them to be easily placed into the presentation order.
DPI:
Digital Images must have a landscape dimension not greater than 1600 pixels wide and a portrait dimension not exceeding 1200 pixels high.
All images must be saved as jpeg files using sRGB colour space to obtain true colour representation, as this is what the WCC projector and the DiCentra programme that we use to project images are set to. Images should be named with the display order.

Images from the recent Annual Print Day may be used in either category subject to complying with all other rules.
