This Week's Meeting
The first Print competition of the year will be judged by Mike Hendon, LRPS, from Bath. There has been a bumper entry of 67 images for him to judge. Thankyou to the many Club members who turned out for the Camera Fair on Sunday, especially to those who were there at 7 a.m.! Frome Salon of Photography 2018 has now closed for entries, with takings well up on last year's. There will be an opportunity at next week's meeting (9th November) to see presentations from the three very eminent Selectors who will judge nearly 5,000 Salon entries over the ensuing weekend. Please pencil in Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th, and come along to Beckington if you can. Mount-Cutting Service - a Special Offer for Members FWCC member David Weeks has e-mailed to say that he is able to supply a mount cutting service to club members. During last Friday’s meeting our speaker suggested that getting a mount cut could cost £8.00 per mount.Some local shops charge even more. However, as a picture framer with a small business in Warminster, David is able to supply at a cost of £3.50 per cut mount in any colour - overall size 400 x 500.
